The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

I am a seasoned traveller to Indonesias most popular tourist island, Bali. Coming from Perth, Western Australia, Bali is only a 3.5 hour flight directly north, we even share the same time zone! I’ve visited Bali more than 20 times in the past 4 years alone, spending between 1 week and 4 weeks each time, and staying in many of the different tourist areas on the main Island, plus several of the other islands to the east.

And its because of this, I am often getting many messages from friends and colleagues asking for various pieces of advice, such as estimates on taxi fares, best towns to stay in for their wants/ needs, and points of interest to visit. So it made sense that I put this site together, as I may not always be able to respond to questions in time, so those people can hopefully find the answer to their question/s here with speed and ease, plus perhaps pick up other sweet nuggets of info they never thought to ask, such as navigating the airport arrivals for your first time.

Please be aware, this is currently a work in progress, and will be updated fairly regularly with information and photos, where my time permits, and trips there to gather fresh information are possible. This is purely a hobby project, I get no payments or royalties from anyone to do this, its simply something to help fellow travellers. So all I ask, is that you share this site with friends who might find the information of use, and hopefully allow for a better and more prepared trip to Indonesias most popular tourist Island.
