The smallest of the 3 Nusa islands in this area, Nusa Ceningan is connected to Nusa Lembongan by the Yellow Bridge, barely wide enough for two scooters to pass, and cars not permitted to cross. To be honest, theres not much here, its a very quiet island, with some accomodation around the southern tip. It does however, have the very scenic Blue Lagoon, though access to its beach is near on impossible and simply not recommended, and has one surf spot on the other side of the headland shared with Blue Lagoon, a medium level left hand point break.
But between Blue Lagoon and the Yellow Bridge, are several canal side warungs that will provide the perfect spot to enjoy a sunset cocktail or 5, plus some delicious food. And even some swings for all you instagrammers seeking this types of content.
Scooters are recommended for getting around if you intend to explore, this will allow you to get over to Nusa Lembongan as well, which does have the majority of restaurant options as well as accomodation and other attractions.
I also recommend taking money over from Bali, there are no ATMs on Nusa Ceningan, and the nearest is on Nusa Lembongan next to the water slide park, but due to limited police presence, all ATMs have card readers on them. Take a minimum of 500k IDR per day per person when your not on Bali, and if you didn’t pre pay for your accomodation, find out if they will accept credit card payment or if they accept cash only. If cash only, add this into your budget.
