Nusa Penida is pretty limited for accomodation, while there are places to stay, its quite scattered, with there only really being one main hub towards the north west of the island.
Primarily, its an instagrammers stop, having several scenic places to get pretty pictures, such as Diamond Beach, Crystal Beach, Hidden beach, and the highly photographed Kelingking Beach. Theres also great dive spots at Crystal Beach, and Manta Bay.
Theres no surf spots to mention, and scooters are essential for getting around, but not recommended for beginners as the roads are pretty beat up!
I also recommend taking money over from Bali, there are some ATMs on Nusa Penida, but due to limited police presence, all ATMs have card readers on them. Take a minimum of 500k IDR per day per person when not on Bali, and if you didn’t pre pay for your accomodation, find out if they will accept credit card payment or if they accept cash only. If cash only, add this into your budget
