4 January Penampahan Kuningan
5 January Kuningan5 & 6 January: Hari Siwa Ratri
6 March: Hari Raya Suci Tawur Agung Kesanga
7 March: Hari Raya Suci Nyepi Tahun Baru Caka 1941 – This is a very important one to note, Nyepi is a public holiday for Bali, a day of silence and self reflection for the Balinese. Please honour this tradition, and plan accordingly, as everyone must stay indoors. Basic hotel receptions will operate, and restaurants in hotels will still serve guests. But if your accomodation doesn’t have a restaurant, get a stock pile of food the day before, and load up Netflix! Your accomodation staff will remind you in days leading up, so your not caught unaware. The airport is also closed on this day, no flights in or out of Bali will operate.
